The Welsh
School of Homeopathy is hosting a series of special Continuing
Professional Development events and invites you to participate. These
one-day Peer CPD seminars will be held on Mondays from 10.00 to 17.30 at
our premises in Carmarthen.
These
events will provide an opportunity to experience and explore in depth the
Tao of Homeopathy as practised by some of the most accomplished and
well-known practitioners.
We
have invited Peter Fraser to host this special
CPD seminar which will take place on January
9th 2012.
The
cost for this seminar is £65 and includes refreshments

Peter Fraser
Peter was a bookseller before he discovered Homoeopathy and it took him
over, heart and soul. He became involved in provings early in his studies
and has a particular interest in the proving process and the new remedies.
He has written a dozen books including the AIDS Miasm, books on Bird,
Insect, Snake and Spider remedies and a series introducing aspects of
Homoeopathic philosophy and analysis.
He has taught all over the world and in 2011 moved to Vancouver where he
and Caroline Dent run the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy.
An Insight Into
The ‘Drug Remedies’
These are substances with a pharmaceutical effect that are used to enhance
or create a state rather than to correct a problem or relieve a state of
ill health.
There are a number of different basic types:
Narcotics and Analgesics that create numbness and a lack of
feeling.
Entheogens that are used to create a state of divinity or
connection with the divine.
Adrenaline Analogues that are used to create an enhanced state of
awareness or activity.
Social Drugs that are used to create a state of connection with
people and society.
These areas of course overlap greatly and there are other ways in which
they can be grouped.
The remedies from this group include many of our well known remedies such
as Anhalonium, Opium, Coffea and Cannabis and some newly proved ones such
as Heroin, LSD and MDMA.
These remedies are particularly important in the modern world where things
have been numbed down and speeded up; where there is a great need to
connect spiritually and where social interaction is more complicated and
difficult than
ever
